Growing With God's Starter Kit By Jesus!

"Jesus Christ Himself being the Chief Cornerstone; In Whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord; In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit" Ephesians 2:20-22

"Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. And this we will do, if God permit."    Hebrews 6:1-3

CHRISTIAN FORUMS-PRAYER REQUESTS-QUESTIONS-COMMENTS!

A review of "Christian Unity Through God’s Starter Kit By Jesus" is included at the end of this chapter. Before we can go through the "fire" we must have wisdom in the area of forgiveness, Divine physical health and Divine financial security. Let’s look at forgiveness. Forgiving a brother or sister in Jesus, God's children, is easy. Matthew 19:21-22, "Then came Peter to Him [Jesus], and said, Lord how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but until seventy times seven." Always remember Matthew 6:14-15, "For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive men not their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Matthew 19 covers Christians and Matthew six covers everyone else.

Ephesians 4:32 and 5:1-2, "And be ye kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ sake has forgiven you. Be ye therefore followers of God as dear children: And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given Himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour." The definition of charity is "agape" affection or benevolence, helping others, love. First Corinthians 13:1-7, "Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things." Colossians 3:12-25, "Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. [ties in with Matthew 5:48, completeness, "teleiotes", maturity] And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the Name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged. Servants [employees], obey in all things your masters [employer] according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God: And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men: Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance; for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done; and there is no respect of persons."

Ephesians 5:19-33, "Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves to one another in the fear of God.

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and He is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it; That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word, that He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones.

For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband."

Luke 6:35-38, "But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for He is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again."

This is usually used as a scripture pertaining to God blessing us financially, but we are applying it to forgiveness. If we forgive others we will be forgiven when we need forgiveness. Forgiving fellow Christians that know the truth is one thing, but forgiving and asking for forgiveness from people who don't know the truth is something else. We learned from Matthew 16:21-24 that evil spirits can speak through someone else to us when Peter was used by the devil to speak to Jesus and then Jesus rebuked the devil that spoke through Peter, not Peter. It is imperative that we learn to recognize a fiery dart of the wicked. Many times I have recognized a fiery dart from someone that doesn't know what they are doing and I just have to ignore it and remember what Jesus said on the cross, Luke 23:34, "Then said Jesus, Father forgive them; for they know not what they do." If I am the one that fires the fiery dart I must immediately ask the person to forgive me and try hard not to be used by the wicked to offend someone, but with some people, we just have to turn it over to the Lord and let Him take care of the situation.

In early 1987 I had a job at a small chemical plant in Houston that God sent me to so I could talk to a young lady named Cindy Haddock. She and I spent a lot of time talking about spiritual things and I know that God is going to use that Word that was sown in her heart in the years to come. God used Cindy to teach me something while I was there that I have never forgotten. She was going to a class at a church she was joining and they were teaching her their doctrine. They were teaching on forgiveness and the teacher said, "I don't know why, but it seems like as soon as you forgive someone they will do something else to make you mad." Cindy and I talked about the devil and I had tried to teach her what I could. When her teacher said what she did, Cindy just innocently told her, "Oh, that's just the devil trying to mess you up." Her teacher thanked her and gave her a hug. God has brought that to my remembrance on numerous occasions since because the devil is constantly trying to "mess me up."

Matthew 6:14-15, "For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive men not their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Unforgiveness can open the door to a lot of stress. There have been times when I will forgive someone for something they have said or done and I will begin to have negative thoughts toward that person. I have learned to recognize this as an attack of the wicked and have learned to rebuke the thoughts and ask God to send ministering angels to draw that person closer to Him.

While we are discussing forgiveness let's talk about the death penalty. I live in Texas, the leading death penalty state in the country. We execute, and have more people waiting for execution, than any state in the country or, as far as I know, the world. I don't believe in the death penalty! We need to take responsibility for the ills of our society that promote violence and ungodly lifestyles through video games, television shows and commercials, movies, music, billboards, magazines, tattoos, along with Hollywood and all that goes with it, rock stars and their music and the message they promote, such as clothes and hairstyles and also pornography, etc., and they, along with the death penalty, are wiles of the devil that he has designed to discredit the greatest Christian country in the world, the United States of America. The rest of the world looks at our society and perceives these activities are activities of Christians.

The death penalty is another attack on American credibility that is orchestrated by the devil himself to destroy our Christian witness because we are perceived as a Christian society and what ever the world sees America doing is perceived to be Christian and nothing could be further from the truth. The world thinks that whatever they see is the true gospel of Jesus Christ. satan is spreading his version of Christianity around the world in an attempt to keep the true gospel of Jesus Christ from being spread around the world, but when God’s plan is to spread the gospel around the world it will be spread in spite of us just like Romans 4:17 says, "even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were." The gospel will be spread! Mark 16:15, Jesus speaking, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."

I definitely believe that there are people that are more easily used of the devil to commit crimes than others and should be separated from the rest of society, but I also know who the devil is and how he works and that 99.99% of our society doesn't know how he works. Prison is an excellent time to teach people the truth about the spiritual realm. They know they are doing wrong, but don't have the spiritual guidance that will set them free from satan's wiles. I remember that the media made a big fuss over Karla Faye Tucker who was executed on February 3, 1998. It was obvious she had changed during her incarceration and was born again when she was executed, but never had a complete gospel taught to her. She and her husband could have spent the night at my house anytime.

Matthew 5:38-39, "Ye hath heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth. [Leviticus 24:19-20, "And if a man cause a blemish in his neighbour; as he hath done, so shall it be done to him; Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him again."] But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also." Resist not evil means not to repay evil with evil. Romans 12:17 and others, "Recompense to no man evil for evil." We are not to do evil to someone because they have done evil to us.

In Luke chapter nine the disciples of Jesus went into a village to prepare for the arrival of Jesus, but the village would not receive Him because He was set on going to Jerusalem. In verses 54-56, "And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from Heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? [Second Kings 1:10-12] But He turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of [the devil]. For the Son of Man [Jesus] has not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village." As long as a person has a breath of life left in them they have the potential to repent and be born again and spend eternity with God. God has already forgiven them and we do not have the right to take away their chance to repent and become a child of God and spend eternity with Him no matter what they did. People will say that the killer may have taken away the chance of the person they killed to spend eternity with God, but I am sure God is smart enough to sort all that out on judgement day. Second Corinthians 5:10, "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."

Romans 5:8-11, "But God commandeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement."

Definition of atonement, "Katallage", to reconcile. Reconciliation, restoration, exchange. A change or reconciliation from a state of enmity between persons to one of friendship. Between God and man it is the result of the redemption, the divine act of salvation, the ceasing of God’s wrath. In the new testament it means reconciliation, i.e., restoration to divine favor by bringing about a change in man, conversion, the means or occasion of reconciling the world to God.

Remember that Moses killed a man after looking to see if no one was looking and then had to flee from Egypt for 40 years and live in Midian. Paul was a witness to the death by stoning of Stephen in Acts Seven and was on the road to Damascus to imprison Christians when Jesus struck him blind and he was converted. Paul wrote in First Corinthians 15:9-10, "For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet [worthy] to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am:"

The opportunity to repent and become a child of God should never be denied to anyone by the death penalty. Second Corinthians 5:17-21, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him"

Matthew 5:43-48, "Ye have heard that it has been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in Heaven: for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? Do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect." Perfect is "telelos", adult, full-grown, of full age as opposed to little children, mature. Matthew 6:14-15, "For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."

I have never seen someone that was being executed have full understanding of the gospel. I have seen people that have been born again during their incarceration executed, but never with true knowledge of the battle that got them to the point where society thinks that the only way they can deal with them is to kill them. If we as a Church could only teach society, the world, that the only true rehabilitation is through a full understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ and not a little incomplete man-pleasing gospel, but the complete gospel like we are learning in these pages. They need the "Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven" and the full armor of God to understand why they are where they are and how satan has manipulated not only them, but also their victim(s) to bring them to be on death row.

Just about the time I begin to make some progress convincing people that we should do away with the death penalty the devil talks someone into doing something that is so repulsive even I have to stop and remember that we wrestle not against flesh and blood and that the devil can take the lost at his will. I am referring to the men in Jasper, Texas that brutally killed a man by chaining him to the back of a pickup and dragging him to his death and the little girl in Chicago that was killed by her parents because she was crying and actually chopped up and they dissolved her in battery acid. Help Us Jesus to help all people realize that there is a devil seeking whom he may devour. We must fulfill Luke 4:18-19. "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord."

A lack of spiritual understanding or commitment can result in someone losing a loved one. Many times I have seen accounts of someone losing a loved one and you can tell there is no spiritual commitment or understanding by the family. If the people could have known the extent of the spiritual battle they were involved in they would have been praying for and binding the devil over their loved ones to keep them from being involved in whatever crime was committed against them. I saw an interview once with a young lady whose brother had been shot and killed in a high school parking lot after a football game. Her brother wasn't the intended victim because they were shooting at someone else. She made the statement that it must have been God's will. Help us Jesus! I pray that you have learned that satan can manipulate circumstances to create this situation and then make it look like it was God's will. Psalm 91:16, "With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation."

I think it is very sad when someone is executed and the two families gather to witness the execution, because they will have the image of that person’s death in their mind for the rest of their life unless they learn to recognize the fiery darts of the wicked. When we execute someone we are completing satan's plan for that person's life. satan has used them to do his work and then he uses us to execute the person for what he talked him into doing and we become a part of the devil's works. John 10:10, Jesus speaking, "The thief [satan] cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they may have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." I have seen person after person that thinks revenge will make the loss of a loved one okay. Many times these are the surviving parents of someone that realize that if they had not allowed their child to live the lifestyle that they were living they would not have been in a position to be victimized by whoever they are wanting to alleviate their guilt through by seeing them punished when they know that if they would have been a better parent and not let their child live an ungodly lifestyle what happened to them would not have happened. As we read earlier in Ephesians 4:27, "Neither give place to the devil." satan will still come with his fiery darts to remind all parties involved of the crime he perpetuated over and over even after their revenge has been obtained. They need spiritual understanding and to take the spiritual realm seriously.

Lifestyle is also a factor in some people's death that brings them to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. As I stated earlier, the Holy Ghost has me pray for and bind the devil over my family and friends and pastors and leaders and almost anybody quite often. People will live a lifestyle devoid of any commitment to God and then get mad at God for bad things that happen to them and their loved ones. If someone hasn't determined in their hearts to do things God’s way they are doing things the devil’s way. We need to live a Word of God-Jesus based life and lifestyle.

Here is a newspaper article telling about how our latest victim is going to be executed in Texas. Until Christian’s come together and make a stand against the death penalty we will continue to complete satan’s vicious attack against, not only the victim[s], but also the perpetrator of these crimes. How can we continue to think we can determine what kind of person someone will be forty years after he has been removed from the very society that needs to stand up and take responsibility for the lifestyles we condone and even encourage in our music and movies and television shows and advertisements that can influence someone to kill someone with no regard for the other person’s life and show no remorse until he is removed from our society and exposed to prison ministries. I felt sorry for the victims mother as she told how she can’t forgive her son’s killer and consequently will probably spend the rest of her days in unforgiveness. The car they were in was full of vexing demons that night as they were influencing these people with their fiery darts and evil suggestions and they had no idea, and probably still don’t know, that the devil even exists.

This person looks like he has had some kind of conversion in prison and is repentant about what he did and with the proper teaching he could be born again if he isn’t already and become a productive member of the prison population, although I have heard that crime is rampant in prison and the tough guys are in charge.

Killer who chanted rock lyrics set to die tomorrow

Associated Press

HUNTSVILLE - The heavy metal rock group Metallica exploded into pop culture in the early 1980s with the album Kill 'Em All, which depicts a pool of blood on the record cover and includes a song called No Remorse.

According to testimony at his capital murder trial, then 18-year-old Troy Kunkle chanted the song's refrain -- "Another day, another death, another sorrow, another breath" -- after fatally shooting a man in the head in Corpus Christi and robbing him of $13.

Kunkle, a San Antonio high school student at the time in 1984, is now 38 and set to die Wednesday night. An appeal was before the U.S. Supreme Court to keep him from becoming the 11th Texas prisoner executed this year.

Leslie Poynter Dixon, a former assistant district attorney in Nueces County who prosecuted the case, last week recalled a hearing about whether the Metallica song could be used as evidence.

"As this album was being played for the judge so he could make his decision on whether it would be admitted, Mr. Kunkle was playing an air guitar," said Dixon, now the district attorney in Van Zandt County in East Texas. "That really struck me. It suggested to me that Mr. Kunkle had no regard for human life -- even his own -- because this was his trial and the state was seeking the death penalty."

Kunkle, who declined to speak with reporters in the weeks preceding his execution date, told the San Antonio Express-News in 1996 his life was transformed while on death row thanks to prison religious ministers.

"I feel better about myself now," he said. "I get along better with others, which I had a problem with in the past. ... But I do think about my victim every day."

Kunkle and four friends got high on LSD and marijuana and were drinking large amounts of beer when they decided to drive from San Antonio to the beach at Corpus Christi, 140 miles to the southeast.

Court records show they robbed a man of $7 at a convenience store, then drove around Corpus Christi looking for someone else to rob.

Steven Horton, 29, was walking home after playing pool at a bar and the youths offered him a ride. When he got into their car, testimony showed Kunkle urged one of his companions to shoot Horton. When the friend refused, Kunkle grabbed the .22-caliber pistol. As they drove behind a skating rink, Horton was shot in the back of the head. His body was pushed out of the car and his wallet taken.

Kunkle, identified as the shooter, and his friends were arrested later back in San Antonio. "I can't forgive him," Horton's mother, Mary, told the Corpus Christi Caller-Times in a story published this week. "He had no reason to do that. ... I guess the worst thing is it was a senseless murder."

Kunkle's girlfriend, Lora Lee Zaiontz, received a life prison term. Two others received 30-year sentences for murder. No charges were filed against a fifth person in the car.

Kunkle's rights to due process were violated when his trial judge refused to allow his appeals lawyers to have a state-paid full transcript of nearly six days' worth of questioning of potential jurors, according to an appeal before the U.S. Supreme Court.

The appeal also contended jurors who deliberated his death sentence were not allowed to properly consider his drug and alcohol abuse history, and that he was on drugs and alcohol the night of the murder.

"In addition, evidence demonstrated that Mr. Kunkle was the product of a troubled and turbulent home environment, including parents who had been medically treated for depression, which would naturally have left him psychologically and emotionally scarred," his appeal said.

The Texas attorney general's office accused Kunkle's lawyers of "trawling ... the record for possible errors" in the jury selection questioning.

The attorney general's office also contended that if jurors believed Kunkle's drug and alcohol use and home environment were mitigating factors, they could have expressed that in their answers to questions that determined punishment.

Kunkle, whose father was in the military, was born in Germany and was almost a teenager before he moved to the United States. Ulrich Maly, the mayor of Nuremberg, where Kunkle spent his early years, sent a letter to Gov. Rick Perry urging Kunkle's sentence be commuted to life in prison.

While acknowledging the crime was terrible, "The death sentence violates the most fundamental human right," Maly said.

*****************************************************************************

Troy Kunkle received a stay of execution, but was finally executed January 25, 2005. I certainly feel safer, don’t you?

We must learn to not only forgive, but to forget the wrongs that have been committed against us. Somebody told me that there was no way they could forget, but now that we know who our true enemy is and what a fiery dart is and how to quench the fiery darts of the wicked, we can not only forgive, but also forget. We must strive to learn how the wicked are manipulating, not only the people around us, but also we ourselves, to create a situation whereby we are put in a position to have to forgive someone. We must learn to take authority over the devil and keep him from putting us in a position to have to forgive someone. Accepting the fiery darts of the wicked about something and allowing them to plant unforgiveness in your heart is opening yourself up to a spiritual attack by the enemy, but we can stop the attack immediately by recognizing the thought as a fiery dart and remembering Matthew 6:14 and 15. When satan comes with memories of some painful experience in your past, an experience that he himself engineered, like Oklahoma City and 911, just remember the source of the thoughts and that if you don't forgive, God won't forgive you. Remember that unforgiveness can open the door to stress and create a lot of openings for sickness and disease. You might even have to contact someone in your past and ask them to forgive you or tell them that you forgive them, but don't forget to pray, ask for wisdom and bind the devil before you seek the person out. We must learn to stand together in unity against these demons and when they are vexing spirits it is very difficult, but if we stand together with God we can do it. We need each other!

Romans 2:1-6, "Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. But we are sure the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? Or despiseeth thou the riches of His goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thou to repentance? But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds."

Let’s review "Christian Unity Through God’s Starter Kit by Jesus."

Chapter One: God wants us to be one and that there be no divisions among us, Philippians 2:2 and First Corinthians 1:10 and others. We were first called Christians-followers of Christ-at Antioch-Acts 11:26. We overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony-Revelation 12:7-11. Mark 4:14-20 illustrates the born again process. We have learned that when someone repents of their old life and determines to do things God’s way a chain reaction takes place in the spirit world. We receive a "Starter Kit" free of charge. When we determine in our hearts to do things God’s way and repent like Mark 1:15, Acts 20:21 and Acts 2:38 tells us we are born again and then we find that it is the goodness of God that has led us to repentance according to Romans 2:4. We are born again, just like in John 3:1-8 and Romans 10:9-11 tells us. We become new creatures according to Romans 6:6-11, Second Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 4:24 and Colossians 3:9&10. We become dead to sin according to Romans 6:11 and First Peter 2:24. The Greek word for born again is "gennao" that means the process of birth-conception-development-delivery. John 3:3 says we must be born again to see or understand the Kingdom of God. We receive wisdom in Christ Jesus according to First Corinthians 1:30 which enables us to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, Colossians 1:9. We are God’s workmanship through Christ Jesus according to Ephesians 2:10.

Jesus’ Name is The Word of God according to Revelation 19:13. Salvation is the Greek words "soteria" and "soterion" and is different from born again, "gennao." The combination of the meanings is rescue or safety (physically or morally):-deliver, health, salvation, save, saving. Defender or by implication defense:-salvation. We confess with our mouth unto salvation-Romans 10:9-11. We must not deny Jesus or the Word of God before men or He will deny us before His Father-Luke 12:8-9. All scripture is given by the inspiration of God, Second Timothy 3:16. The Word of God will remain forever-Matthew 24:31, Mark 13:31 and Luke 21:33. We must test any message we hear that it lines up with the Word of God, First John 1:4-6. Perfect is "artios" and "telelos’-mature, complete, fully qualified, Matthew 5:4 and Second Timothy 3:17. satan can blind minds and take the Word out of hearts-Second Corinthians 4:3-4 and Mark 4:14-15. Jesus will open our understanding-Luke 24:45. We can bind and loose on Earth and it will be bound and loosed in Heaven-Matthew 18:18. Angels are our ministering spirits-Hebrews 1:14. God has vessels of honor and dishonor and we will be a vessel of honor if we purge ourselves of our old ways, Second Timothy 2:19-22. Overcome is "nikao", to subdue (lit. or fig.) conquer, overcome, prevail, to get the victory and is different from born again and salvation. We must be born again to overcome and obtain salvation. We are ambassadors for Christ that are to fulfill the great commission-Second Corinthians 5:18-20 and Mark 16:15-18. We are to lay up treasure in Heaven-6:19-21.

Chapter Two: Jesus gives Peter the Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven in Acts 2:38 just like He said He would in Matthew 16:18. The Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven are, "REPENT, and be BAPTIZED everyone of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the HOLY GHOST."

When we repent toward God like Acts 20:21 says we are going through the born again process like John 3:1-12 says. We have an initial repentance [ametameletos] in Second Corinthians 7:10 to enter the Kingdom of God and then we must learn to go to First John 1:8-9 and repent [metanoia] of our old ways. Repentance is determining to do things God’s way. We are called to repentance in Mark 1:15, Acts 2:38 and Acts 20:21. We become dead to sin like Romans 6:1-11 tells us.

We have our sins remitted by the blood of Jesus through baptism in the Name of Jesus according to Acts 2:38, Romans 6:1-11, Matthew 26:26-28 and Hebrews 10:14-20. We are baptized into Christ according to Galatians 3:26-27. We have a good conscience when we are baptized, First Peter 3:21 and Hebrews 10:21-23. We must be baptized in the Name of Jesus just like in, Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-16, Acts 10:48, Acts 19:5, Romans 6:3, Galatians 3:27 and Colossians 3:17 tells us. Remission is "aphesis", freedom, deliverance, liberty, forgiveness. God will not charge or impute anymore sins to our account-Second Corinthians 5:19 and Romans 4:6-8. You can be baptized more than once like the believers in Acts 19:3-5 that Paul baptized. Communion is a continuation of Baptism-Luke 22:19-20 and First Corinthians 11:23-26. We need to do our best to avoid sin once we are baptized, First John 3:20-22, but when we do we must go to First John 1:9 and clean it up and move on to Hebrews 6:1-6

We must not blaspheme or lie about the Holy Ghost-Matthew 12:31-32, Mark 3:28-29 and Luke 12:10. Jesus told His disciples to wait for the Holy Ghost in Jerusalem-Luke 24:45-49 and Acts 1:5. The Holy Ghost is a comforter, Spirit of Truth and abides with us forever and is a Teacher and Prompter, John 14:16-18, 26 and First Corinthians 2:9-16. We receive the Holy Ghost when we speak in our other language or tongues God gives us according to Acts 19:1-7 and Acts 10:38-48 and Acts 2:1-39. The gift of the Holy Ghost and the gift of tongues are not the same, First Corinthians 12:4-11 and Acts 2:38. We must pray in the spirit and the natural, First Corinthians 14:14-15. The Holy Spirit makes intercession for us-Romans 8:26-28. We are sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise, Second Corinthians 1:22, Ephesians 1:13 and 4:30. We are indwelt by the Holy Ghost according to First Corinthians 6:19-20 and John 14:26. We see the Holy Ghost working all through the book of Acts. We edify or build up ourselves praying in the Holy Ghost-Jude 20 and First Corinthians 14:4. The works of the Cross redeems us and then our redemption is completed by the renewing of the mind through the Holy Spirit-First Corinthians 1:30, Ephesians 1:13-14 and Romans 12:2. We are sanctified, washed and justified, according to First Corinthians 1:30. We are further sanctified, washed and made just by the Holy Ghost according to First Corinthians 6:11. Jesus was sanctified so we could be sanctified, John 17:19-23. We are washed, sanctified and cleansed by the Word according to Ephesians 5:26. We are renewed by the Holy Ghost according to Titus 3:3-8, Romans 12:1-2. Grace teaches, Titus 2:11-15. We have no need of a man to teach us if as the Holy Ghost will teach us, First John 2:26-27.

Chapter Three-We must depart from iniquity to be worthy for the Master’s use, Second Timothy 2:19-21. Peter went through the fire or a sifting and afterwards He wept bitterly, Luke 22:31-34 ans 54-62 and First Peter 1:6-8. God will not send us through the baptism of fire without the Holy Ghost, Matthew 3:11. We will go through the fire only if necessary-First Peter 1:6-7. We must learn the difference between the evil day and the fire-Ephesians 6:13. We who are in Christ Jesus are not condemned when we are in the spirit and not the flesh-Romans 8:1. We must build our houses or lives on the Rock and not sand, Matthew 7:24-27. We must keep the marriage bed undefiled-Hebrews 13:4. Neither give place to the devil, Ephesians 4:27. God will never leave us nor forsake us-Hebrews 13:5-6. Be angry and sin not-Ephesians 4:26. Husbands are to love their wives as Christ loved the Church-Ephesians 5:25.

Since God is an Invisible Immortal Spirit-Colossians 1:15, Deuteronomy 33:27 and John 4:24 and we were created in His image-Genesis 1:26-27 God created a body for that invisible, immortal spirit and it became a living soul in Genesis 2:7. He created us male and female-Genesis 1:27. There is a natural body and a spiritual body-First Corinthians 15:44 and Second Corinthians 5:6-8. God will bring the dead in Christ with Him-First Thessalonians 4:13-14. We are all one in Christ Jesus, Galatians 3:26-28.

Chapter Four-Jesus came to set the blind, broken-hearted captives free-Luke 4:18-19. God has given us armor to defend ourselves against the wiles of the devil in Ephesians 6:13-18. They are truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, The Sword of the Spirit or The Word of God and prayer. Jesus-The Word of God is the way, the truth and the life, John 14:6. We must worship in spirit and truth-John 4:23-24. Truth came by Jesus-John 1:17. The truth shall make you free-John 8:32. We are given wisdom and when we ask for wisdom we will become wise-First Corinthians 1:30, James 1:5 and Colossians 1:9-10. We must have the truth of The Word of God to overcome the wiles of the devil.

We need the meat and not the milk of the Word to be righteous-Hebrews 5:11-14. God has given us the righteousness [dikaioaune] of God through Christ Jesus-Second Corinthians 5:21, First Peter 2:24, Philippians 3:9 and others, so we can become righteous [dikaios]-James 5:16. We are justified so we can become just-First Corinthians 6:11. We are the temple of God built by God’s workmanship through Christ Jesus unto good works, Ephesians 2:18-22 and First Corinthians 3:16. We are not justified by the deed of the law, but the law has been established by His grace through the redemption in Christ Jesus-Romans 3:20-28,31. Jesus was our Sacrifice so by His blood we can enter the Holiest in full assurance of faith-Hebrews 10:1-23. God has made us alive by grace and we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus, Ephesians 2:1-10. We have been given peace with God so we can make peace with God, Romans 5:1, Ephesians 6:15. We must follow those things that make for peace-Romans 14:17-19. God has made us one with Him and restored our fellowship with Him that was disrupted in the Garden of Eden when satan deceived Adam and Eve, Romans 5:12-21, First John 1:3-10. When we don’t seem to be in fellowship with God we need to go to First John 1:3-10 and have our fellowship restored. We are able to humble ourselves to obtain mercy and grace and resist the devil, James 4:5-8, First Peter 5:5-11. We are made glorious or honorable so that we can become honorable-trustworthy, Romans 8:30, Second Thessalonians 1:12.

Chapter Five-The Shield of Faith is found in Ephesians 6:16. Since we know by faith that our adversary is the devil we must resist him in the faith-First Peter 5:8-9. Nothing shall be impossible to us if we have faith the size of a mustard seed-Matthew 17:20. Our faith must come from the Word of God-Romans 10:17. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen-Hebrews 11:1. We walk by faith, not by what we see-Second Corinthians 5:7. God calls those things that be not as though they were when we have faith that God to perform what He promises-Romans 4:17, Acts 12:1-17, 16:19-34 and the story of Abraham and Sarah in Genesis chapters 15-21 and many, many others. God will provide, Genesis 22:1-19. Our works don’t save us-Ephesians 2:8-9. Faith without works, or action, is dead-James 2:17. We are created in Christ Jesus unto good works-Ephesians 2:10. The just live by faith, Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11 and Hebrews 10:38. The worlds were framed by the Word of God-Hebrews 11:3. Jesus-The Word Of God-is the author and finisher of our faith-Hebrews 12:2. We must keep our eyes on the Word of God and not man as the basis of our faith-Matthew 13:24-30, 37-43 and Matthew 7:21-23. We must work out our own faith so that God can do His pleasure with us-Philippians 2:12-13. We cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven without "child-like" faith-Matthew 18:1-4. We can establish our hearts with grace because Jesus-The Word of God is the same yesterday, today and forever-Hebrews 13:8-9. We hold fast the profession of our faith because we know that He is faithful that promised-Hebrews 10:23. There are four stages of faith-intellectual, temporary, dead and real saving. Anything we are striving to obtain from the spiritual realm will go through the stages of the parable of the sower and will end up in Romans 10:9-11 that tells us with the heart [not the head] man believeth. We have faith in God, speak to our mountains and not doubt in our hearts by quenching all the fiery darts of the wicked with The Word Of God and we will have what we say within the will of God-Mark 11:22-24, Romans 10:9-11, Ephesians 6:16, First John 5:14-15, John 14:12-14, John 16:23-24. God is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him-Hebrews 11:6. We are given a measure of faith and then we must contend for that faith-Romans 12:3 and Jude 3.

Chapter Six- We have the Shield of Faith to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked, Ephesians 6:16. We must not let things come between us and God, Mark 4:18-19 and Genesis 3:1-10. We must learn to use First John 1:4-2:2 and 3:20-24 and Hebrews 10:14-23 and many others to maintain our fellowship with God. We must bring our thoughts into the obedience of Christ, Second Corinthians 10:5. We defeat the fiery darts with the Word of God just like Jesus did, Luke 4:1-14. We wrestle or contend not against flesh and blood but evil spirits for our measure of faith, Ephesians 6:11-12, Jude 3. We can overcome the wicked one, First John 2:12-14. We can bind and loose in the Name of Jesus-Matthew 18:18. By definition a fiery dart is a thought introduced into our minds to inflame us with anger, grief or lust. satan can speak to us just like he did Eve, Jesus, Peter, Brother Pittman and me, Genesis 3:1-15, Luke 4:1-14 and Matthew 16:21-23. satan can speak to us just like he did through Peter to Jesus, Matthew 16:21-23.

We are at war and the weapons of our warfare are mighty through God, Second Corinthians 10:3-5. We must be sure that the offenses of satan don’t come through us and that we forgive an offense coming through another, Luke 17:1 and Matthew 6:14-15. First John 3:8 tells us that Jesus was manifest to destroy the works of the devil. Our past sins and future sins are covered by Romans 3:24-25 and First John 1:4-2:2. We must be spiritually minded and not fleshly or carnally minded, Romans 8:5-8. We serve the law of God with our renewed mind-Romans 7:21-25 and Romans 12:2. We must keep our minds on the simplicity that is in Christ, First Corinthians 11:3. God has given us a spirit of power, love and a sound mind and not fear-Second Timothy 1:7. We must help people recover themselves from the snare of the devil, Second Timothy 2:24-26. We must not give the devil ground or place, Ephesians 4:27. We resist satan through submission to God and in the faith-James 4:7 and First Peter 5:8-9. To please God we must not entangle ourselves with the affairs of this life, Second Timothy 2:4.

We are redeemed from the curse of the law, Galatians 3:13. We must raise our children by instruction and example, Ephesians 6:1-4. We can be vexed by evil spirits, Luke 6:17-18. God will not allow us to be vexed or tempted above that we are able, First Corinthians 10:13. satan comes to steal, kill and destroy, Jesus came to give us abundant life, John 10:10. We must cast our cares or worries on the Lord and God will exalt us in due time, First Peter 5:6-11 and Matthew 6:24-34. We must submit ourselves to God, James 4:7. Jesus and Philip cast devils out of many with His Word, Matthew 8:16 and Acts 8:6-7 and Mark 5:1-20. The devils will come back looking for an empty vessel and we must be sure it is filled with the Word of God, Luke 11:24-26. We must strive to be led of the Spirit-Romans 8:12-14. If we find ourselves in darkness we must realize our fellowship with God is broken and strive to possess our vessel in sanctification and honor, First John 1:4-2:6, First Thessalonians 4:4. We are the servants of righteousness, Romans 6:18. We need to realize that our Father in Heaven chastises us and we need to bring our flesh into subjection and be partakers of His holiness, First Corinthians 9:24-27 and Hebrews 12:9-10. The Greek words for fornication are pornein and porneuo-harlotry (including adultery and incest) idolatry-to act the harlot-indulge unlawful lust of either sex or (figuratively) practice idolatry-commit fornication. We must strive not to sin so we will not be looking for the fiery indignation of God, Hebrews 10:26-31. The works of the flesh is found in Galatians 5:19-21 and the fruit of the Spirit is found in Galatians 5:22-25.

Chapter Seven-Life will be peaceful and free of oppression and sickness when God’s Holy Mountain-Zion is established on the top of the mountains-Isaiah 2:1-4, 11:6-9, 12:6, 25:6-8, 33:24, 35:5-7, 54:13-14. satan will be locked up for a thousand years-Revelation 20:1-3, and then be loosed for a season and gather together many to make war against the beloved city-Zion-Revelation 20:7-9. We conclude that since he is locked up and everything is peaceful that he is our only problem in this world. satan is a fallen angel that was created to be the song leader in Heaven and he was perfect in wisdom and beauty until iniquity was found in him, Ezekiel 28:11-14. satan and a third of the angels of Heaven were kicked out of Heaven at the occasion of the birth of Jesus, Revelation 12. Through simple math we conclude that we have the other two-thirds of the angels of Heaven on our side. Those that are keeping the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ are at war with satan, Revelation 12:17. We overcome by the word of our testimony and the blood of Jesus, Revelation 12:11.

Chapter Nine-We are to take the helmet of Salvation, Ephesians 6:17. By definition salvation is rescue or safety (physically or morally), deliverance, health, save, saving, defense and is different from born again-"gennao" and overcome-"nikao". Jesus made a new covenant or testament when He shed His blood on the cross at Calvary, Matthew 26:26-28, John 19:33-34 and Hebrews 8:6-13. God made a covenant with Abraham in Genesis 17:4-12 that is still ours today. Our immutable covenant with God is an anchor for our souls, minds, and personalities, Hebrews 6:13-20. Immutable is "never changing or varying; unchangeable." Chapter Ten-We should do greater works than Jesus did, John 14:12-14. We should depart from iniquity to be worthy for the Master’s use-Second Timothy 2:19-22. Whatsoever we ask the Father in the Name of Jesus He will give us, John 16:23-24. We must submit ourselves to God, resist the devil and he will flee from us, James 4:7 and First Peter 5:8-9.
